Odisha to plant 75L saplings on PM Modi's birthday today

To mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday and the national plantation drive ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam 2.0’, 1.5 crore saplings will be planted across the country Wednesday.
Odisha has set a target of planting over 75 lakh saplings in a single day as part of the campaign. The initiative will make the state greener and more climate-resilient, said Forest, Environment & Climate Change Minister Ganesh Ram Singhkhuntia at a review meeting at Lok Seva Bhawan Tuesday.
