Home guard aspirant dies

In a shocking incident, an aspirant for home guard post collapsed during a physical test being conducted at the Reserve Police Grounds at Chhatrapur in Ganjam district and died at a hospital Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Shibaram Pradhan under Tarasingh police station. According to officials, candidates were undergoing mandatory physical tests when Pradhan fell ill while running. He was rushed to Chhatrapur Hospital and later shifted to MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur, where he succumbed during treatment.
Following the incident, the afternoon physical tests were suspended and aspirants were sent back home. Authorities said the interviews would resume later as per instructions from higher authorities.

Coldrif: Pharma co owner held
