'Diarrhoea controlled through joint efforts'

The state government Friday said the diarrhoea situation has been brought under control by concerted efforts of field-level teams of the departments of Health and Family Welfare, Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water, Housing and Urban Development, Women and Child Development, and Mission Shakti, an official said.

Public Health Services director Nilakantha Mishra presented the updates and outlined the issues at a review meeting chaired by Health secretary Aswathy S, the official said.
