Number of students with above 90% dips
Girls continued to outperform boys in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class X and XII examinations this year, even as the state registered a pass percentage of 78.74 in Class XII and an impressive 92.40 per cent in Class X, according to the Board sources.
CBSE sources said Bhubaneswar region secured a pass percentage of 83.64 in Class XII, placing it 11th among CBSE regions across the country. In Class X, the region fared even better with a 92.64 per cent success rate, while ranking 12th nationally.
