NOTTS HAVE BEEN STRONG AND SUSTAINABLE IN THE TRANSFER MARKET, BRINGING IN 11 NEW FACES TO LEAVE DoF FEELING 'PRETTY HAPPY'
NOTTS County's director of football, Roberto Gagliardi, analysed the club's summer business to this point with the league campaign now underway.
It has been a very busy summer at the club, with a new head coach appointed and 11 new signings made so far to compensate for some high-profile departures and improve the squad overall.
Having come in at the back end of last season, Gagliardi has had a lot to get through.
He has worked closely with the club's owners, head coach Martin Paterson and his backroom staff to get the right players through the door at Meadow Lane.
He said: "I think it's important that, first of all, we look at the squad we have now and look to see if we have strengthened overall compared to what we had at the end of last season.
"Have we brought the players we wanted to bring with the attributes we wanted to bring, and if I can compare the squad now to before, I am pretty happy with what I see.
