Women's elite sport 'could earn near-£2bn'

FINANCE Global revenues for women's elite sport could be close to £2billion in 2025, according to predictions from Deloitte.

The finance company estimates the combination of matchday, commercial and broadcast revenue will hit 2.35bn US dollars (£1.88bn) worldwide across top-level women’s sport, up from 1.88bn dollars (£1.50bn) in 2024.
That would represent a 240 per cent rise in four years after Deloitte valued the 2022 market at 692m dollars.
