Win would be more than just a first for Ange after eventful week

ANGE Postecoglou’s first week-and-a-half as Nottingham Forest head coach has certainly been eventful.

Well beaten by Arsenal and dumped out of the Carabao Cup by Swansea City is not how he would have envisaged his start to life at the club. And it means this afternoon's trip to Burnley in the Premier League (3pm kickoff) has taken on added importance.

The Reds could really do with a win. Three points, a boost of confidence and Postecoglou getting his first victory on the board has to be the aim - especially ahead of next week’s Europa League opener away at Real Betis.

Postecoglou is still getting his feet under the table at the City Ground and finding out more about his squad following his appointment last week.

But already a few themes are emerging about what his tenure might look like. Below, we take a look at what we have found out about the 60-year-old from his first week-and-a-bit in the hot seat.

IT WON'T BE DULL

Anyone could have guessed that would be the case as soon as the announcement about Postecoglou’s arrival was made. He is not known for cautious, defensive football and is also not afraid to speak his mind in press conferences.
