Time with Reds was a down period, but I learned a lot, says Stamenic

MARKO Stamenic has said his short spell with Nottingham Forest was one of the “down periods” of his career.

The New Zealand midfielder, who is now with Championship side Swansea City, however, also said his time Trentside was where he learned the most about himself both as a player and a person.

Stamenic arrived at the City Ground in the summer of 2024 from Red Star Belgrade in Serbia for a fee of £4.6m.
