Three shoplifters caught red-handed in same shop over just a few days

THREE shoplifters who blighted a city shop were all caught red-handed in just a few days.

Liam Newton, Wayne Lee and Stacey Blackham tried to steal from the Coop in Beckhampton Road, Bestwood, last week.

Prolific thief Newton was caught first on Monday, August 11, while trying to walk out of Coop with bottles of wine he had not paid for.

Nottinghamshire Police said this was the sixth time he had offended in the shop - making him a familiar face to shop staff and police officers.

The following day, staff alerted police to Lee, who was spotted trying to steal chocolate bars.
