This cheesy chip cob is so wrong but oh, so so right!

THERE'S cobs and then there's this. With carbs on carbs on carbs and cheese thrown in for good measure, it’s the latest craze at a Nottingham chippy.

Not content with serving a normal chip cob, Georgio's in Sneinton has added cheese and battered the whole thing to create the ultimate deep-fried sarnie.

The monster-sized £2.95 takeaway consists of a buttered cob with grated mozzarella and cheddar on both sides and chips just out of the fryer.

It's then dipped in batter and fried for around four minutes until golden and crispy.

Mike Konstandi, owner of the fish and chip shop in Sneinton Dale, said: “We were playing around with food and thought we'd go one step further with a battered chip cob and then another step further trying it with cheese, which was just amazing.
