ANATOLIAN PALACE COMBINES TURKISH HOSPITALITY AND FOOD 'COOKED FROM HEART'
THE weather is typically British (raining) but the authentic flavours at Nottingham's newest restaurant are reminiscent of hot sunny trips abroad.
There's no need to jump on a plane to enjoy the traditional cuisine and welcoming Turkish hospitality at Anatolian Palace.
What it lacks in glistening turquoise seas, sandy beaches and lush mountains, the menu makes up for with the kind of dishes found in holiday hotspots such as Marmaris, Oludeniz and Antalya. Previously Mexican restaurant Chiquito, the building has been renovated throughout after standing empty for two years.
The 160-seater restaurant brings something different to the Showcase Cinema site, off Redfield Way, which is also home to Nando's peri peri chicken and Five Guys' burgers. As well as feeding cinema-goers, Anatolian Palace's owners hope to make it a destination especially when it comes to special occasions such as birthdays.
Operations manager Yasin Baser said: "People can expect good food and secondly it's for people to enjoy the moment. We say 'every moment matters.
