MATTHEW Dennis hopes his goals can power Notts County to more victories, having scored again in their win over Tranmere Rovers on Saturday.

The Magpies came from behind to win for only the second time in their opening six League Two outings, with Dennis leading the team’s second-half resurgence.
His equaliser at Tranmere was his fifth League goal of the campaign for his new club and he leads League Twoin scoring. Two wins and a draw from their last three games have made the outlook more positive for the Magpies, who travel to face Lincoln City tonight in the EFL Trophy (7pm).
The 23-year-old said: “It was a bit of a sloppy first half (against Tranmere) from the team and me but we changed things after halftime, we were more aggressive and direct.
“The gaffer gave us a kick because we needed it and those who came on did well.
