WHETHER you're crave a classic cheeseburger, a gourmet creation stacked high, or something vegan, you will find them all at new burger joint Stax.

The cosy restaurant in Hockley has two intimate floors with a warm and inviting boho atmosphere, or a lively summer buzz if you like to sit outside to watch the world go by.

The focus is now on American comfort foodV at the premises, formerly Vi-Va Indian Tapas, which moved to Pelham Street.

Nine types of burger are on the menu, served with or without a toasted brioche bun, with house fries. Customers can choose from smashed beef, buttermilk chicken breast or a plant-based patty.

Kicking off with a traditional cheeseburger, the menu also includes Buffalo with buffalo sauce and ranch mayo, and Dirty Sanchez with nachos, jalapenos, salsa and sour cream.

Basil Instinct is topped with pesto, brown butter and mustard mayo while Grill Me Softly comes with halloumi, onions and chilli jam.
