Six people hurt in collision between car and tram

NOTTINGHAMSHIRE Police, East Midlands Ambulance Service and NET have released statements after a tram crash that led to three people being taken to hospital.

The collision, at 8am yesterday, involved a tram and a car in Queen's Walk, The Meadows.
The NET tram derailed in the collision, and the track and nearby infrastructure were also damaged.
The incident led to the suspension of some tram services and changes to bus services while the Rail Accident Investigation Branch and NET investigated.
Emergency services were at the scene, with Nottinghamshire Police stating at the time: “We are currently attending a road traffic collision in Queen's Walk, The Meadows.
