Ryan's frustration

FRUSTRATED skipper Ryan Yates held his hands up for the own goal that condemned Nottingham Forest to defeat against Braga in their penultimate league-phase game in the Europa League.

The midfielder put the ball into his own net in the second half for the only goal of the game in Portugal. It leaves the Reds facing a challenge to finish in the top eight of the standings and qualify automatically for the round of 16.

Sean Dyche's side were poor on the night and were booed by the travelling supporters. Yates has admitted Forest need to do better.

"Very disappointing," he told TNT Sports. "I feel we controlled most parts of the game.

"I thought we stifled them in the first half.

"We had opportunities to make a breakthrough, we didn't. Then, I unfortunately make a mistake at the other end. Then we could never get a foothold in the game after that.
