A FORMER Victorian pumping station which has been turned into a holiday cottage in Nottinghamshire has been recognised for its “excellent” feedback from customers.
The property is located in Misterton, a village in Bassetlaw, and was built over 160 years ago.
The Pump House Art Studio is a Grade II-listed building and was a pumping house used to drain excess water from The Mother Drain, dug in 1790, into the River Idle.
Owners Nicholas Pryke and Claire Elliott have been renting the two-bedroom cottage to holiday-makers since May 2021.
