Psychiatric hospital treats stab case accused

THE man accused of a mass stabbing on a train in Cambridgeshire is currently being treated at a psychiatric hospital in Nottinghamshire, a court has heard.

Anthony Williams, 32, appeared in court yesterday after being charged with 10 counts of attempted murder, possession of a bladed article, and actual bodily harm in connection with the attack on November 1

Eleven people were injured during the incident, which occurred on the 6.25pm service from Doncaster to London King's Cross.

Appearing at Cambridge Crown Court, Williams, of Langford Road, Peterborough, was given the provisional trial date of June 22, reports Cambridgeshire Live.
