Pride at 'outstanding' rating for care home

SIGNIFICANT IMPROVEMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE SINCE LAST CQC INSPECTION
A CARE home previously found to be in breach of regulations has now been rated "outstanding".
Hall Park on Squires Avenue, Bulwell, has made significant improvements since its previous Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection in August 2021, when it was rated as "requires improvement".
At the time, inspectors also found the care home was in breach of legal regulations in relation to safe care and treatment, staffing levels and good governance.
Almost four years later, however, a new inspection carried out on March 31 and April 1 rated the service "outstanding" in all areas.
Residents said they felt "very fortunate" and "very happy" at the care home.
Home manager Jodie Rakhra said: "It's an absolute privilege to lead a care home where our residents' well-being and enrichment are at the heart of everything we do.
