MARTIN Paterson is pleased to see his Notts County players take responsibility for their own performances as they look to start another positive run this weekend.

The Magpies are back at Meadow Lane today as they welcome Crewe Alexandra (12.30pm), who are one of the teams looking to chase them down for a playoff spot in League Two.

Notts got back to winning ways last weekend away against Crawley Town after a mini slide but there was still anger in the dressing room at full-time at giving up what would have been a hard-earned clean sheet on the road in added time.

Their head coach hopes to see that attitude carried forward as they look to regain some consistency.
