A BOY narrowly escaped a terrifying abduction attempt after a masked man tried to grab him at a Nottinghamshire nature reserve.

Mum Hayley Dickens, 45, was horrified when her 13-year-old son revealed what had happened to him as he walked through the Rainworth nature reserve on Friday, July 4.
The teenager was walking through woodland near Rufford Colliery Lane after school when a hooded man leapt out from the undergrowth and tried to grab him. His mum said: “It must have been between 4pm and 5.30pm after he came back from school - he came home and said ‘I've got something to tell you’ and I was like ‘what?’”
