Knifeman's victim lied to medics about attack

NO REASON GIVEN FOR 'SURPRISE' ASSAULT

AN attack victim drove himself to the Queen's Medical Centre after being stabbed in the chest as he sat in a car outside a bar.

Nottingham Crown Court heard the man told medics he had been injured by glass, but they did not believe him.

They told the police, who found CCTV footage of dad-to-be Connor Gladwin, pictured, leaning into the victim's car and thrusting a blade into him before threatening others with the weapon, which has never been found.

At the time the 23-year-old, of St Ann's, was the subject of a suspended sentence order for affray.
