Jodi issue is 'not serious' but Magpies ace a doubt for U's game

WE ARE MAKING SURE WE LOOK AFTER HIM - BOSS
HEAD coach Martin Paterson said Notts County are doing what they can to look after a "high quality" asset in Jodi Jones as he deals with a minor issue.
The Magpies are ready to face Colchester United at home this afternoon (3pm) looking to continue their unbeaten league run, but may be without one of their key players again.
Jones missed the draw against Harrogate Town at Meadow Lane last weekend and remains a doubt for this one; however, Paterson has assured Notts supporters it is more of a precautionary move.
He said: "Jodi's is an interesting one, and people must think I'm fibbing when I say it's not serious, but it isn't, it's just more of a persistent niggle where he is just not free of irritation.
"We feel he's getting closer, though, and we're having day-by-day fitness tests to see if he's ready for the next game, but I think we can see the light at the end of the tunnel in his case.
