UNIQUE COLLECTABLE SELLS FOR £90K AND HELPS DAD BUY SHOP
A FATHER and son have turned their card-collecting hobby into a career thanks to a miracle find on holiday that led to the duo making more than £90,000.
Chris Wilmott and his son Jake, from Ilkeston, began collecting sports trading cards in May 2024 after learning about the craze on TikTok.
"I was stood in my kitchen flicking through videos and I saw this guy opening a pack of cards I'd never seen anything like it in my life," Chris said.
After purchasing some packs online to see what the fuss was about, Chris fell in love with trading cards and set up his own TikTok account with then 11-year-old Jake, named "Jake's Breaks".
