Green Heart looks grim... but it'll help garden grow

NOTTINGHAM'S Green Heart has undergone a significant transformation as Nottingham City Council aims to enhance the biodiversity of the area.

The wildflower area of the Green Heart has been cut back as part of the annual “cut and lift” process.
The cut takes place every year at the end of the growing season to try to replicate autumn grazing, maintaining a healthy balance of flowers in the city centre space.
