Family's tributes after boy, 7, fatally struck by a car

THE family of a seven-year-old boy has paid tribute after he was fatally struck by a car on the A38, Sutton-In-Ashfield.

Emergency services were called to a report of a collision between a car and a child along the A38, Kings Mill Road East, near Kingfisher Way, at 8.26pm on Tuesday.
Logan Parker, who lived in the area, died at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene and is assisting Nottinghamshire Police with their inquiries.
The A38 was closed in both directions while investigations took place, but later reopened.
