Drug addict caught with heroin and cocaine in underpants

A DRUG addict was caught with heroin and crack cocaine in his underpants in Nottingham city centre.

Nottingham Crown Court heard how heavily convicted Harry Morgan ran from police when they tried to stop him but he was caught and the drugs were recovered.

The 38-year-old, of St Ann's, appeared over a video link from Nottingham Prison for last week's hearing, having been jailed earlier this year for theft and handling stolen goods.

On that occasion, he was linked to a stolen car by a thumbprint left on a bottle of Lucozade energy drink left in it.

Jailing him for two more years, Judge Mark Watson said: "The facts in regards to your offending are familiar to the courts.

"You were in possession of drugs which you were supplying on the streets and there was quite a large amount of crack cocaine - some £600-worth - and you raised suspicion by running away from the police.
