Cowling ready to seize his chance to be a Midlands Area champ
Nottingham Post
|November 21, 2025
NEWARK’S Tom Cowling says he has “left no stone unturned” as he prepares for his Midlands Area middleweight title fight against Coventry's Commonwealth Games bronze medallist Aaron Bowen.
-
It features on the undercard of Ben Whittaker's Matchroom Boxing debut #LevelUp show live on DAZN, which takes place at Birmingham’s NEC on Saturday, November 29.
This will be the second time Cowling challenges for area title honours following his narrow points loss (95-96) to Burntwood’s Troy Coleman last September at Grantham’s The Meres Leisure Centre.
“T’ve left no stone unturned in my preparation for this fight,’ said Cowling.
“I worked so hard in Brisbane with Deuk Rae Kim at Dundee’s Boxing and Fitness. Now I’m back in Newark grafting away with Carl (Greaves) and had fantastic sparring at Rotunda ABC through my sponsor/team member Mark Atherton.
