Children were in back of car of suspected drink driver

A SUSPECTED drink-driver was found slumped over their steering wheel with two young passengers.

Paramedics spotted the motorist in Bowbridge Lane, Newark, on Monday afternoon and called police as they suspected he was drunk.
Officers then discovered two young children sitting in the back of the parked car, which had its keys in the ignition.
The force said the driver was made to complete a roadside breathalyser test which indicated he was over the alcohol limit.
