Call to end press ban 'farce' after discussion is refused by Reform

NO TIME TO HEAR COUNCILLORS' MOTION TO SUPPORT FREE PRESS
A COUNCILLOR has written to the leader of Reform-led Nottinghamshire County Council calling on him to end a ban on certain journalists and "repair the relationship with the local press".
Reporters for the Nottingham Post and Nottinghamshire Live - and the BBC-funded Local Democracy Reporting Service (LDRS) that it manages - are currently banned from interviewing council leader Mick Barton and his 40 Reform councillors.
