Building under way on hundreds of homes at former Boots site

CONSTRUCTION is ramping up on the hundreds of homes that are being built on part of a former Boots site.

Keepmoat is building 604 houses on land that was once part of the health and beauty giant's sprawling Thane Road compound, between Beeston and Nottingham.
Ilke Homes, which had been appointed to develop the site, collapsed into administration in 2023, but Keepmoat and the county's biggest company struck a land deal to get the long-planned housing scheme back on track later that year.
