SHE BEGAN MAKING CHOCOLATE TREATS DURING LOCKDOWN
A MUM of one who began baking while furloughed during lockdown has turned her hobby into a successful business.
Brodie Colton, of Mansfield, sold her 8,000th brownie earlier this year.
She swapped her HR career for gourmet chocolate treats, including brownies, blondies, cookies, and cakes sold at markets and events across the East Midlands.
After discovering her passion for baking during the pandemic, Brodie began experimenting in the kitchen. What began as a creative outlet quickly evolved into a business called Crumbs & Colton.
Brodie said: "Crumbs has honestly been a dream to run. It's given me a purpose, independence and the chance to be there for my daughter every day."
