WINGER IMPRESSED BY 'HUGE HISTORY' ON SHOW AT CITY GROUND
NOTTINGHAM Forest newcomer Dilane Bakwa is delighted to have joined a club with the drive to become “one of the best in the world” under ambitious owner Evangelos Marinakis.
The 23-year-old attacker arrived at the City Ground on a busy transfer deadline day for the Reds on Monday. He put pen to paper on a fiveyear deal to seal his switch from Strasbourg.
His arrival was part of an impressive summer recruitment drive by Forest.
"When you look at the work the president (Marinakis) has done so far, this can only reassure you and motivate you to come here," said Bakwa in an interview with the club.
"As soon as the discussions started with the club, I had no hesitation, I already knew I wanted to come here.
"When I walked around the museum and I saw all the titles; that shows you what the club is about. The club is back in Europe and even that shows the ambition; to be one of the best clubs in the world."
