Class of '76 set to celebrate reunion and retirement
North Devon Journal
|May 01, 2025
ALMOST 300 former pupils who left Pilton School in the summer of 1976 are being sought by organisers planning a 50-year reunion to celebrate the milestone - and, for many, mark the beginning of retirement.
-
The event will take place at Pilton School, now Pilton Community College, on Friday, June 20, in the same reception lounge where the Class of '76 once gathered as teenagers. It aims to reunite students who attended the Chaddiford Lane site between 1971 and 1976.
The reunion is expected to serve as both a nostalgic celebration and a chance for attendees to reflect on the paths they have taken since leaving school.
