The Materials Management Department of SAIL -Bhilai Steel Plant organized an interactive session on the adoption of Zero Defect Zero Effect (ZED) and Lean Certification Schemes for its Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) vendors, at HRD Centre on April 8, 2025.

The initiative is aimed at enhancing awareness and facilitating the implementation of quality and productivity improvement programs under the Government of India's flagship schemes tailored for Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The session was conducted in collaboration with Zen International System, Pune, and an official training partner of the Quality Council of India (QCI).
Shri A. K. Chakraborty, ED (MM), BSP, was the Chief Guest on this occasion, while Shri Arvind Tiwari, Assistant Director (MSME-DFO, Raipur); Shri Tripathy and Shri Shailendra Singh, Managers (District Trade and Industries Centre (DTIC), Durg) were present as Special guests representing the Government of Chhattisgarh.
