QpiAI is at the forefront of combining quantum computing and AI, with plans to build both NISQ and logical qubit systems. Supported by strong leadership, recent funding, and advanced software, it aims to drive innovation and deliver impactful solutions across multiple industries.

QpiAI Raises $32 Million in Series-A Round Led by Avataar Ventures and National Quantum Mission

We thank our investors who enabled us to take QpiAI to the next level. We were able to achieve great traction in the commercialization of NISQ (Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum) computers used for education, research, and algorithmic prototyping. Markets are ripe for utility-scale quantum computers with logical qubits, and we are leading efforts towards building full-stack utility-scale quantum computers.

Mohan Kumar, Managing Partner at Avataar Ventures, added, "We believe quantum has the potential to advance mankind beyond imagination, and India has a unique opportunity to lead this frontier technology. QpiAI has demonstrated strong technical and commercial leadership with its functional quantum computing technology and real-world applications at large automotive and life sciences customers. The organization is on the path to lead the quantum-wave for the emerging markets with its advanced full-stack technology. We have been inspired by the vision, achievements, and capabilities of the QpiAI team led by Nagendra Nagaraja and are excited to partner with them in their growth journey."

Cracks are appearing in OpenAI’s dominant facade

THE 21ST-CENTURY tech landscape was built with a winner-takes-all mindset. It started with Microsoft’s Windows monopoly at the end of the 1990s. Since then Alphabet-owned Google has cornered search and Amazon has become the king of e-commerce. Meta, too, has blanketed much of the world with social media—though on November 18th, a judge in Washington, DC, spared it the ignominy of being declared a monopolist.
