Paytm, CEO settle case with Sebi

Vijay Shekhar Sharma, the founder and managing director of One97 Communications Ltd, has settled a regulatory probe by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) over alleged irregularities in the grant of employee stock options (Esops) ahead of its 2021 initial public offering (IPO).
Sebi's probe was on 2.1 crore Esops granted to Sharma in October 2021 and over 2.2 lakh options given to his brother in May 2022 after Sharma allegedly declassified himself
