8i Ventures-backed TransBnk snags $25 mn in fresh funding

Banking infrastructure platform TransBnk said on Thursday it has closed its Series B round, pocketing $25 million (₹219.5 crore) in the fundraise, as it charts international expansion and strengthens its product and technology.
The round, led by Bessemer Venture Partners, saw participation from Arkam Ventures and Fundamentum Partnership. Existing investors 8i Ventures, Accion Venture Labs and GMO Venture Partners also took part in the investment round, the New Delhi-based company said in a statement.
TransBnk said the capital raised will primarily be used for geographical expansion and to build its tech and product talent.
