Wheat product exports set to resume

India is considering resuming exports of wheat products after more than three years of restrictions, supported by ample local supplies and expectations of a strong crop, according to people familiar with the matter.
The ministry of consumer affairs, food and public distribution has proposed allowing shipments of products such as wheat flour and semolina, said the people, who asked not be identified as the discussions are private.
