iPhone 17 rings in festive cheer for Apple
Mint Bangalore
|September 11, 2025
Apple on Tuesday unveiled four new iPhones and four new wearables under its Watch and AirPods lineups, keeping its overall prices largely unchanged despite a billion-dollar hit from US President Donald Trump's trade tariffs.
For 2025, Apple raised the base price of its newest iPhone in India by a marginal 4% to ₹82,900, its first hike in years. Analysts see the launches boosting its sales in India in the upcoming festival season with double-digit growth, driven by the new iPhone Air, a new design on the iPhone 17 Pro that may beckon loyalists, and older devices already discounted across retailers.
