Lentra to launch its AaaS platform by December: CEO

Fintech SaaS firm Lentra is set to launch an analytics-as-a-service (AaaS) platform by December, aiming to provide banks and financial institutions with sharper tools to predict default probabilities, manage portfolios and curb nonperforming assets (NPAs).

The upcoming solution, currently under wraps, will allow CFOs, risk officers, and underwriters to generate real-time insights into loan books and borrower behaviour. "The mantra of retail lending worldwide is the probability of default," said D. Venkatesh (DV), chief executive and co-founder of Lentra. "We're giving banks the tools to predict the shape of the future and act before risks materialize."
The move comes at a time when credit demand in India is expanding across retail, MSME and first-time borrowers, but many lenders remain constrained by legacy technology and high manual costs.
