In response to China’s announcement of plans to construct the world’s largest dam on the Brahmaputra River in Tibet, India has reiterated its commitment to safeguarding its interests. External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal confirmed that India would continue to monitor the situation closely and take necessary measures to protect its concerns.
