GST collections rise by 9% to Rs 1.89 lakh cr in Sept

India’s Goods and Services Tax (GST) collections touched Rs 1.89 lakh crore in September, reflecting a 9.1 per cent increase compared to the same period last year, government data released on Wednesday showed.

The figure also marked a 1.5 per cent rise over August, when the mop-up stood at Rs 1.86 lakh crore.
