VP Sara says photo showing father in hospital bed is 'fake'

Vice President Sara Duterte warned the public against falling for the “edited” photo circulating on social media that allegedly shows former president Rodrigo Duterte bedridden in a hospital.

During a chance interview with supporters outside the Scheveningen Prison in The Hague, Netherlands on Friday, July 11, she shared a health update about the former chief executive and clarified that he is not bedridden as the photo on social media depicts.

"So, hindi totoo yung photo na yon. Malamang edited yung photo na yon. Ibang pasyente yon, inano lang nila ang mukha ni dating pangulong Duterte (that photo is fake. The photo is most probably edited. That's a different patient and they just edited the face of former president Duterte)," she said.
