Strengthening Conservation Ties between Singapore and the Philippines

Singapore's Rainforest Wild Asia is home to a family of Philippine deer — a vulnerable species native to the Philippines. In February 2025, the exhibit celebrated a milestone with the birth of its first fawn.

In Palawan, Mandai Nature supports Katala Foundation’s breeding, rescue and rehabilitation work for the Philippine cockatoo, Philippine pangolin and Palawan forest turtle. The Philippine cockatoo conservation breeding programme at Bird Paradise is a partnership between DENR, Katala Foundation, Mandai Nature and Mandai Wildlife Group.
