We were able to catch up with him ahead of the event and we got to talk to him about being a dad and husband.

When asked how he is able to maintain a good balance between family life and his hectic acting career, the 39-year-old said that it's all about proper time management.

"If there’s a shoot or when I’m working, of course, I’d have to be 100 percent focused on that. But when I’m given free time, I’d prefer to spend time with my family,” he said.

"That’s where I feel like my life is balanced," he added. "I feel healed when I spend time with the family."

Joong-ki, who is married to British actress Katy Louise Saunders, said he intends to return to Manila for a family vacation.
