SM Prime raises P17-B retail bonds

SM Prime Holdings Inc. (SM Prime), one of Southeast Asia’s largest integrated property developers, has successfully raised P17 billion from the issuance of retail bonds, which were listed at Philippine Dealing & Exchange Corp. (PDEx) on Monday, Nov. 17.
In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE), the firm said this consists of P12 billion from the principal offering and the oversubscription option of up to P5 billion.
The issuance, consisting of series AB, AC, and AD bonds due in 2030, 2032, and 2035, respectively, marks the third tranche of the company’s P100-billion shelf registration of fixed-rate bonds approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
