Pink lighting project grows; Philtrust Bank participates

Philtrust Bank is once again illuminating its commitment to public health by participating in the annual Pink Lighting Project, a nationwide initiative to raise awareness about breast cancer.

This year is the second consecutive year the bank has joined the collaborative effort, which is spearheaded by the Philippine College of Surgeons (PCS), the Inner Wheel Clubs of the Philippines, Inc. (IW-CPI), and the Department of Health (DOH).

The initiative aims to symbolically shine a light on a critical health issue, with breast cancer being one of the leading causes of death among Filipino women. Early detection and screening are paramount to improving survival rates, and the Pink Lighting Project acts as a highly visible reminder for communities across the archipelago to prioritize proactive health checks.
