PBBM impeachment raps can still be revived - Luistro

House Committee on Justice Chairwoman Batangas second district Rep. Gerville "Jinky Bitrics" Luistro said that the two impeachment complaints filed against President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. are not yet technically dead.

The committee held a hearing on Wednesday, Feb. 4, where it declared the twin complaints as insufficient in substance. This effectively defeated the impeachment raps on the committee level.
But given the right conditions, Luistro said these complaints could still be revived in plenary.
“We intend to transmit right away (the committee report) to the plenary, but it depends on the plenary as to when the same will be tackled on the floor,” Luistro said in a press conference after the hearing.
