Over 800 families have been rescued and relocated to evacuation centers across the City of Manila as heavy rains and widespread flooding continued to affect Metro Manila on Tuesday, July 22.

Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso have been conducting round-the-clock inspections of low-lying areas in the city.

The Manila Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office has mobilized emergency response teams, while multiple public schools and government facilities have been converted into temporary shelters for displaced residents.
