Assomeone who's had the honor of hosting the Johnny Awards, named after Johnny Litton, for the third year in a row, I can honestly say that this year was a fabulous challenge because I had to make the creme de la creme awardees laugh at my stand-up comedy jokes.

And these were not just ordinary individuals; the awardees comprised an incredible roster of individuals whose impact spans law, business, the arts, and humanitarian work.

From Justice Conchita Carpio-Morales to Jacques Branellec of Jewelmer, every name called was a reminder of the depth of Filipino excellence. Chairperson Marissa Fenton and co-chair Roselle Rebano led the ceremonies with poise and passion—ladies who make things happen with grace (and gowns to match!) Held last July 20 at the Grand Hyatt Manila, the evening affair was a glorious mix of elegance, excellence, and a whole lot of heart.
